CARROT Weather (iOS) - Select Your PWS
Instructions
First, please ensure your desired PWS is connected to the PWSweather network. You can find details on how to accomplish this in our FAQs.
CARROT Weather for iOS is one of the most detailed weather apps available to iPhone, iPad, and Apple watch users. Aside from having loads of customizable features, including selecting AerisWeather as a data source for Premium users, CARROT users can also highlight their own weather station data from within the app. Simply follow these steps to start using your PWS hardware with CARROT:
- Open the CARROT app on your iOS Device (Android support currently not available)
- Select the "Settings" menu in the bottom footer of the application.
- Tap "Source" to arrive at a screen that appears like the one to the left.
- Then, select the "Personal Weather Stations" button. You may need to scroll down to find this depending on your screen size and ratio.
- Under "FIND A NEARBY STATION...", select "PWSweather Stations" to navigate to a map of nearby stations for selection.
Selecting Your Station
From this point, you can easily select your station or a nearby one. Tap on a nearby station, and select "View" in the tooltip. Simply click "Use Station When Nearby" to confirm your change and lock in your new CARROT weather data source!
